Lilliana, our lovely server was amazing (she'll answer the phone when you call for reservations and she'll remember your name from then on out), team service was spot on, the drinks were generous and the food was awesome. “ Fari is a cute trattoria that offers most of the Italian food we are used to find on most trattorias; however, with a twist, not quirky but with a smallish 'fusion' flavor. But that aside, the Italian cucina is tastefully done, with top quality ingredients and a savoir faire that is immediately noticeable. The result is outstanding. Pizza is very good, and the carbonara pasta I had ranks up there with the best I ever had (at least the sauce). Believe me, I had a great time. If you are in San Miguel de Allende, and want to have a nice Italian treat, Fari won't disappoint. Prices are fair to high, but it's worth every penny. ”

“ What a gem! The food was delicious— the large serving of tiramisu is not to be missed, so save room if you can, as tempting as it is to order more fresh, warm bread with your pasta. I found the service exceptional, from staff friendliness and attentiveness right down to the little foil swan they made to package up my remaining dessert. I sat at the bar and got to watch the preparation of delicious meals and treats in the stone oven. The nearby traffic could get a little noisy, but was counterbalanced by the sounds of happy people enjoying good food. I just wish this restaurant was closer to home so I could go again and again! ”
